Sopio Mkervalidze joined ISET Policy Institute’s Macroeconomic Policy Research team in September 2023 and is a junior researcher. She is currently a fourth-year student enrolled at the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET).

Currently, she is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Money and Banking and International Trade courses at the International School of Economics at TSU. Before joining the ISET Policy Institute, Sopio held the position of a Student Assistant at the Chair of General Business Administration, Corporate Accounting, and Controlling at the University of Bremen during her Erasmus+ exchange semester. Before this, she worked as an intern researcher at the PMC Research Center.
