Mariam Lortkipanidze
Senior Researcher

Mariam Lortkipanidze is a senior researcher at the ISET Policy Institute's Private Sector Development Policy Research Center. Mariam holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin (2022), as well as another Master’s Degree in Comparative Constitutional Law from Central European University in Budapest (2017). Mariam received her Bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the Free University of Tbilisi (2013).

Before joining the ISET Policy Institute, she was employed in the EU Judiciary Support Project, where she worked on reforms related to the administration of justice. Prior to this, she worked with different local NGOs and had also been delivering seminars to BA students for the "Law and Economics" course at Free University. She has consulted organizations like PMCG and PwC on several Regulatory Impact Assessment projects, including the Public Service Reform and the Labour Law Reform in Georgia.
