ISET Policy Institute’s Lead Economist Mariam Lobjanidze participated in the Eighth CAREC Think Tank Development Forum on August 27-28, 2024, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Organized by the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute (CI), this annual event serves as a flagship knowledge exchange platform under the CAREC Think Tank Network (CTTN).

On 21 November, Davit Keshelava, deputy practice lead of ISET Policy Institute’s Macroeconomic Policy Research Center (MPRC), took part in a Georgian-Austrian Business Forum that was organized by Advantage Austria Tbilisi (while acting as part of the Trade Mission in Georgia and Azerbaijan).

On September 15-16, 2022, Ana Burduli of ISET Policy Institute participated in the Sixth Annual CAREC Think Tank Development Forum (CTTDF) in Baku, Azerbaijan under the theme “Recalibrating Growth Dynamics for Inclusive and Sustainable Economies”.

Tamar Sulukhia, the Director of ISET and the ISET Policy Institute, took part in a discussion organized within the RECONOMY program. This online forum focused on the ways the Russian invasion of Ukraine has challenged the EU’s approach towards the future of Eastern Partnership countries, as well as prospects for EU integration.

ISET Policy Institute is an active member of the CAREC Think Tank Network. This year, the fifth CAREC Think Tank Development Forum, held on November 23-24, gathered leaders from the CAREC Institute, Asian Development Bank, other international organizations, leading regional think tanks, experts, alongside various academics to discuss economic corridors as drivers of fiscal growth and regional integration.
