The Georgian Economic Association invites paper submissions for the 1st International Conference of the Association to be held at the Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, Georgia. The meeting will feature two plenary talks, paper presentations, a policy panel, and a poster session.
October 19-20 witnessed the largest and most high-profile event of ISET’s year: the international conference on gender economics entitled ‘Gender Equality and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Time of Crisis’. The two-day event, hosted by ISET and the FREE Network (the Forum for Research on Eastern Europe and Emerging Economies), attracted academics from 15 countries, including Australia, India, the USA, the countries of the South Caucasus, Eastern and Western Europe.
On 21-22 June 2023, Yaroslava Babych of the ISET Policy Institute took part in a two-day conference “The playing field in academia: Why are women still underrepresented?” held within the Forum for Research on Gender Economics (FROGEE) initiative.

On November 29, 2022, ISET Policy Institute hosted the event Gender Equality in the South Caucasus and Beyond: New Tools for Policy Research that brought together the policy community, experts, NGOs, academia, and development partners. The activity is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
