ISET Policy Institute team conducted research on the current situation of the land registration process in Georgia, analyzed ongoing land reform, and outlined the challenges of land market development in the country.

The project provides findings and policy recommendation from a series of eight case studies documenting foreign direct investment in Georgia's agriculture and food processing industry, including grape and wine production, hazelnuts, poultry, cereals and medicinal herbs, pickled fruit and vegetables, as well as apple concentrate and aroma.

According to available data from the ministry of agriculture (MoA), by 1 May 2013, 400,000 hectares have been cultivated this year in Georgia, which means a 100% increase compared to last year and the highest figure, by far, since 2005.
