ISET Policy Institute executive director Lasha Labadze attended the fourth annual ADB-Asian Think Tank Development Forum 2016 on October 27-28 in New Delhi, India, organized by the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), and the Asian Development Bank. The forum discussed the latest global and regional policy developments and country-specific experiences on sustainable urbanization. The forum was attended by roughly 30 think tank members of the ADB-Asian Think Tanks Network from Asia and the Pacific. Dynamic and fruitful discussions resulted in the exchange of international experiences regarding sustainable urban development.

“Tax Evasion with Endogenous Reference Points” was the title of a seminar held by Teimuraz Gogsadze, a PhD candidate of the University of Leicester and an ISET graduate of the Class of 2011. Gogsadze examined how taxpayers make tax compliance decisions and respond to changes in tax policies, such as the tax rate, the penalty rate and the probability of an audit.
