Sergo Gadelia is a junior researcher within ISET Policy Institute’s Private Sector Development Research Center (PCDRC). Sergo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from ISET (2021), with his bachelor’s thesis focusing on the estimation of Monetary Policy Transmission Mechanisms in Georgia. During his studies he participated in several projects, including the IMF “Fund Challenge”, where he assessed macroeconomic policies in Turkey. His research interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics, growth theory, and urban and regional economics.

Before joining ISET as a junior researcher, Sergo served as an intern for the PCDRC. Prior to which, he was also an intern in the National Bank of Georgia’s Financial Stability Department, where he worked on the Georgian guideline for Environmental, Social, and Government (ESG) risk management.
